Item Number: S-AFTEROWN-02
Vintage original 8 x 10 in. (20.3 x 25.4 cm.) U.S. double-weight gelatin silver still photograph, fine+ condition.

The silent film western After Your Own Heart was released in 1921 by the Fox Film Corporation and stars the great Tom Mix. The image features a humorous shot of Mix (as Herbert Parker), wearing a dark jacket and tie with white pants, seated on a chair and exemplifying his best behavior for pretty Loretta Bramley (Ora Carew), who does not look very happy with him at the moment. A saddle can be seen between the couple in the background. This vintage original still photograph is in fine+ condition with a small bit of wear on the left top and bottom corners and a light 1 in. vertical crease on the bottom right corner of the outer white border only. On the verso is the original Fox studios rubber stamp in light blue ink which reads William Fox, presents TOM MIX in AFTER YOUR OWN HEART Directed by GEORGE E. MARSHALL.

After Your Own Heart; Fox Film Corporation; 1921; dir: George E. Marshall; cast: Tom Mix, Ora Carew, George Hernandez, William Buckley, Sid Jordan.
