Vintage original 3.25 x 5.25 in. (8.3 x 13.3 cm.) U.S. postcard, unused, fine condition.
The silent film drama The Honor of His House was produced in 1918 by Famous-Players Lasky and stars Asian actor Sessue Hayakawa. The image features a medium shot of Hayakawa (as Count Ito Onata) wearing a black silk robe as he holds the base of a microscope inside the study of his home. This postcard is unused and in fine condition with light signs of wear at each corner. This film was directed by William C. de Mille, brother of the more famous Cecil B. DeMille, who enjoyed a prolific career as a director in the Silent Era.
