Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1920's political corruption-themed western, HOOK AND LADDER, released in 1924 by Universal Pictures and directed by Edward Sedgwick.
The image features a close interior publicity shot of cowboy-turned-fireman Ace Cooper (Hoot Gibson), depicted wearing the hat and jacket of a Los Angeles Fire Department (L.A.F.D.) operator/fireman as he glances off-camera. As indicated near the left border, this photograph was taken by Jack Freulich, the highly-renowned and prolific Hollywood photographer working at Universal during this period. It is in fine- condition.
