Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US double-weight matte photograph of silent film actress MARGARET THOMPSON c.1915.

 

Taken during her association with the "Kay-Bee" brand under the umbrella of the Triangle Film Corporation, she is depicted wearing a fur coat and muff with white shoes. This photograph was taken by Gerald D. Carpenter, the acclaimed Hollywood photographer. It is in fine+ condition.

 

*"Margaret Thompson was born on October 26, 1889 in Trinidad, Colorado, USA. She was an actress, known for The Thoroughbred (1916), Back of the Man (1917) and An Even Break (1917). Leading lady with Triangle in the 1910's, she was previously married to E.H. Allen and was the older sister of Thelma Thompson.. She died on December 26, 1969 in Los Angeles, California, USA."
