Vintage original 11x14 in. US lobby card from the silent film murder drama, THE WEAKER SEX, released in 1917 by the Triangle Film Corporation and directed by Raymond B. West.
Produced by Thomas H. Ince, the image features an interior shot inside the office of District Attorney John Harding (Charles K. French) seated at a desk while Ruth Tilden (Dorothy Dalton), the daughter of an able jurist, talks to him while standing her her desk. It is unrestored in fine- condition.

The ability of Ruth Tilden, attorney-at-law, impresses district attorney John Harding, who eventually asks Ruth to marry him. After the wedding, however, John prefers that Ruth cease practicing the law. John's son Jack, who is in love with dancer Annette Loti, is arrested for Annette's murder after her jealous lover, Raoul Bozen, frames him for the crime. John is forced to prosecute his own son but is delighted when Ruth takes Jack's case and forces a confession from Bozen in court."
